JON OLIVA'S PAIN Drummer Issues European Tour Recap

JON OLIVA'S PAIN, the band led by the SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva, has returned home from the first leg of its European tour in support of its new CD, "Global Warning". Drummer Christopher Kinder weighed in with this report:

"A heartfelt thanks to the incredible fans that came out in record numbers to support JON OLIVA'S PAIN on its first leg of our European tours in support of 'Global Warning'. We had some spectacular gigs in Greece, Holland, Germany and Norway. Switzerland at Z7 with PRIMAL FEAR and in Madrid with the SCORPIONS were my personal highlights. There is talk that we may do some more shows together in the near future...awesome!

"It was great to start the tour with the sold-out Karmegeddon Festival in Norway and then on to nearly sold-out shows at many of the remaining venues on the tour. The fans in Greece and in Spain are absolutely insane... What a blast it was! Special thanks to MANTICORA and MASTERSTROKE for a job well done!

"Global Warning" was released in the U.S. on May 6 via Locomotive Records.
